Hippo chair in lacquered wood combines a traditional Swedish look with a generous portion of light-hearted modernity. Hippo is ideal as a café chair or in a restaurant. The shape evokes something of both the graceful poise of a ballerina and the strength and stability of a hippopotamus. Hippo’s journey began when Mia Gammelgaard asked if we wanted to produce her contribution to the Danish Cabinetmakers’ Autumn Exhibition, “White-Out”. “Of course!” we said and embarked on the project without a moment’s delay. We knew it had to be a wooden chair but, apart from that, nothing was yet decided. After many long hours of product development Hippo appeared in public for the first time on 29 October 2010 in Copenhagen.

Collar, design Louise Hederström (2011), is a new angle on magazine and brochure storage. The more sections that are displayed, the more the asymmetric form is emphasised. The “cut-away” concept is ideal for displaying books, magazines and brochures in different shapes and sizes. The design, inspired by a sheet of folded paper, has a distinctly graphical expression. Collar comes in sizes of 1029x355 mm (vertical with three separate sections) and 316x1128 mm (horizontal with five adjustable dividers that can be used to create up to four separate sections). Both models project 107 mm from the wall, where the panel hangs on a metal suspension strip. Collar is available in oak, birch, ash, standard colors and standard stains.
